In order to identify potential safety hazards, prevent all kinds of laboratory safety accidents, and ensure the safety and stability of laboratories during the summer vacation, according to the relevant requirements of the school, on the afternoon of July 11, Wei Xiaoqiang, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Animal Science and Technology, and Vice Deans Ning Pengfei and Jiang Qinyang led a team of two groups to conduct laboratory safety inspections of all laboratories in the college before the summer vacation.
The inspection team conducted a comprehensive inspection of the safety information signs, hazardous chemical storage and use records, sanitary environment, personal protection, water and electricity safety, etc. of each laboratory, especially the Class I risk level laboratory. This inspection found 39 safety hazards. For the problems found, the inspection team put forward written rectification opinions to the laboratory and required rectification within a time limit.
